I graduated from Kettle Run High School in Nokesville, VA in the Spring of 2022 with a 4.1 GPA.
I began attending the University of Mary Washington in the Fall of 2022. My expected graduation date is Spring 2026.
I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Digital Studies.
I am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies.
I play on the UMW Women's Rugby team at the scrumhalf (#9) position. This year I have served as vice president and one of the team's captains.
I work on campus at the Digital Knowledge Center (DKC). As a consultant, I train members of the UMW community on the equipment, software, and spaces available to them, as well as working on individual projects involving graphic design and video production.
I am also a member of Chi Alpha, a nondenominational campus ministry which holds weekly Bible studies. When my schedule allows, I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fredericksburg in local elementary and middle schools.
In my free time, I love to read, crochet, hike, paint, and play guitar.
I was taught to crochet by my aunt when I was fourteen, and I've been hooked ever since (haha). I sell my weird crocheted items at the Night Market hosted by UMW every semester.
Some of my favorite hiking spots are out in Shenandoah National Park. I especially love Old Rag and White Oak Canyon, which has a great swimming hole at the bottom of a series of waterfalls.
I enjoy books of every genre, but some of my favorites authors are Jane Austen, Stephen King, Kristin Hannah, and Amor Towles. The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis and The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien will always have my heart.
